The work
Design, commission and improve production control systems. Develop Siemens PLC software and Ignition SCADA applications, including screens, alarms and historians. Set controls and safety standards, integrate production software, troubleshoot failures, tune drives and mentor engineers.
Required experience A bachelor’s degree in robotics, computer science, mechanical engineering or electrical engineering and at least eight years in production controls and automation. Strong Siemens programming, Ignition, industrial Ethernet, servo/VFD configuration, electrical cabinet design, pneumatic systems and controls safety experience. Familiarity with NFPA 70E is required. The source requires U.S. Person status for access to export-controlled information or facilities.
Preferred background Twelve or more years of automation experience, panel design, electrical troubleshooting and machinery functional-safety certification.
